Creative Expressions Thursday

Hi folks.

Its still sunny haha
Today I have a Card for Creative Expressions using this months new stamps called Skeleton Leaves by John Lockwood.
Hope you like it.

This is the backing piece made by stamping out the main stamp 3 times with cornflower archival ink , I also edged it in Vintage photo ink and then added them to a pieceof gold card.then matting and layering to make it look how I wanted it.

Here is the ribbon in champagne sily crush , I also wrapped a piece around the mid section of the card.
The full view again  with the frosted blue dazzler on the bow and the sentiment taken from the Elements /lotus flower set.

Have a great day folks and I will see you soon, I hope you liked this one.

Best wishes

Kim

  2. This is a beautiful card Kim and love that background with the leaves. If I am wrong I do apologise but their appears to be a gremlin in the works today as on my tablet the top picture of the card background covers everything at the righthand side of the blog, and makes everything else mega small but sometimes things do come up differently on a tablet tban they do on the proper computer screen. Anyway this is finished so prettily with the embellished ribbon and love the colours. Hope you have a good Easter. x

  4. Hi Kim, I seem to have missed your post yesterday, I must have looked in too early. Both cards are fabulous, I'm loving the colour combination here, really lovely.
I hope you have a lovely Easter, it is my busiest time at Church, I'm off in a few minutes and will be there tomorrow and Saturday and twice on Sunday.
    Enjoy your sunshine.
