Here is today's card using lots of the items created by our Phil.
This really reminds me of spring days and birds singing early morning , gosh aren't I turning in to an old romantic haha
I love the colourway of this one and the beautiful delicate paper from the ad created by Phil also called Butterflies and dragonflies.
So here is how I created this one .
I chose the paper and the colourway I liked from the pad which is 8x8 and I cut this piece down to the size you see here and wrapped a little piece of pale yellow seam binding around the middle
I then distressed the edges of the paper slightly and inked them in Faded jeans ink to get rid of that white edge syndrome we all don't like lol.
Next I decided to add a mat for this pretty paper to sit on and decided to roll open one of the edges to view something, which at this stage I had not decided between all the gorgeous butterfly choices in this pack.
I chose one of the yellowy peach papers ans stamped this gorgeous butterfly with Rusty hinge distress ink in the top left , I also at this stage chose one of the leaf designs and a flower to stamp along the bottom of the paper, I coloured then slightly with stormy sky distress pen a white gel pen and a gold gel pen. To emphasise the gorgeous patterns, some exhisting already on the paper and some I added, If you look on the original paper above you will see what I added with my over stamping.
Here is a closer look.
I created a mat and layer in the same eachy paper and stamped Have a magical day in that same Rusty hinge ink in the bottom right corner.
I took a piece of the blue paper and inked the edges, I wrapped some matching seam binging around it and attached to the mat before stamping the sentiment above.
Here's my little butterfly too,
A close up on the second sentiment and the seam binding bow above that too
here is another view of this pretty little card for today .
I hope you like today's different card , this one is all mellow yellow and the other one is more mad max don't you think lol
Anyway love to you all
