Hope your all having a great week so far. I still cannot believe we are at December at all let alone Christmas, where does the time go, My old dad used to say that once you hit 21 all the years after seem to just fly by but I tell you they seem to really gain some speed after 30 then 40 hit... gosh where is this locomotion speeding off to now haha.
Right as promised we have a winner for the 100 follower competition and that was 33 Miss Louise please step forward and claim your prize.
I used Random.org to pick out the number and this is your prize, it is a Spellbinder die set, a Just Rite sentiment stamp set.2 Wendy Vechi adornments and a card of mine signed from the show Sunday.
I am going to make a regular competition a feature of the blog so watch out for that everyone.
Now I have so many thanks to send out to you all for your wonderful support and comments not only here but also on Create and Craft via emails into the show I read them all and was over whelmed by your generous welcomes and lovely words also on facebook and those seeking out my blog to follow after the show had finished.
I have had several queries left in the comments so here are the answers.
Karen asked if I could do a tutorial for the card I did with the inks 'Discover your Wing's when hers arrive she can follow it so yes Karen of course I will do that for you this week in stages for you to follow.
I was also asked if I could start a you tube channel and add some video tutorials and the answer to that is definitely I will look into doing that for you guys and getting some things up soon.
Pat also asked about what the backing stamp was in the last card I did, well It was The Rose Background and I have linked it here so you can have a look at it.
This week I also created a little piece of art for Heartfelt Creations which I thought you may want to see so here it is.
Live in the moment.
Hope you like it, it will be winging its way to America as soon as possible so I thought it was quite cute with its pretty sweet Juliet flowers.
I will also this week be showing all the card samples that I made for Sues show Sunday so you will get to see them much closer , I will continue to blog over Christmas so please stop by.
Also if you would like to see how anything is done or something specific feel free to let me know in the comments and I will get it done for you.
Welcome again to all my new lovely followers and Thank you all again for your over whelming support and kindness, I look forward to being back on C&C in January and with more competitions too. Louise please email within 5 days for your prize and it will be yours if not I will re do the Random.org number generator if unclaimed.
Have a great Saturday lovelies and will see you all later with that card tutorial for Karen and everyone who was lucky enough to get the discover your wings set from Tailored expressions.
love
Kim

Hi Kim. What a great prize Louise has won. Congrats to her. Love your piece of art. Those Juliet flowers are gorgeous, (they are on my wish list)! Thank you for sharing and I look forward to following you in 2014. Have a good weekend. Take care,
ReplyDeleteThank you Mrs B.
DeleteI love the Juliet flowers and gorgeous little leaves too. Im very lucky to be on the team so got it as part of my dt pack. Thank you for being here with me. Have a great weekend too.hugs Kim xx
Happy Saturday Kim and Kimettes. You think the world spins at 100mph when you hit 40 - jeez, just you wait till 50 odd slaps you in the face ! What with extra wrinkles, lines AND 10 more age spots, not forgetting that body that use to be your best friend up and leaving you to go South ! So Kim, hold on tight gal the years will come and go quicker than you can say "Just Right" : )
ReplyDeleteId like to wish Louise congratulations for being picked for the prize, but I feel sick, Sue doesn't love me either, the only thing I get picked for is .... Let me think !!! Nowt.
Oh well it didnt matter that I have no SB or CE or JR toy's to play with, or that it was birthday, doesn't matter at ALL !!!
Good job I can swallow hard to get rid of that big lump in my throat - and - say " woop woop, high 5 Louise" CONGRATS ! What a smashing suprise for you and what a fantastic prize, WOW you lucky gal, the best Christmas pressie EVER : ) well done.
I was right tho when I said I own non of the above, but I've just started a few Farmers Markets/Craft Fairs, although I still need 13.00 before I 'break even' between money spent on tables and money made, I hope 1 day to have a few pounds left to start and stock up from the bottom up, starting with the e-bosser as I can no longer turn the handle of my 'mangle' without pain, then Foundation card etc but all these beautiful dies, stamps, and embossing folders just keep coming, so I'll never catch up !!!
What with craft fair's I've done so far, a small cheque off my MIL for my birthday, and my craft vouchers I still need to save 40.00 and with my disability payment funding bills, food etc goodness knows how long it will take to save ! So its owie owie, and a few 'choice words' for now : )
Kim, your art work is lovely, although the shape reminds me of a grave stone a bit, but the way you have decorated it is just beautiful.
Hope your Saturday isn't going to be too crazy considering the time of year ! And wishing you all (except Louise) : ) a lovely day - teasing you Louise.
Hugs.

Morning Kim, Congratulations to the lucky, Louise, what a lovely surprise for you.
ReplyDeleteI would like to say a big 'Thank You' to Karen for asking for the tutorial for the inky card on the Toolshed, yippeeeeeee, I 'hinted' that I had already forgotten how you did it, and I wanted to try and replicate it haha, I am 'over the moon' this morning knowing that I will be able to do just that, I have received all my goodies yesterday for it, so when I have finished with the Christmas cards, I am so behind with them ha ha, I will be able to try your inky card, I can't wait.
Like Lancashire Steph above, I agree with the 'tempus fugit', time definitely does fly, just wait til you get over 60 haha, with each '0' it goes even faster.
