Show cards.

Hi Everyone

Welcome to the new followers or blogglies as we are now calling us all lol (cross between bloggers and lovelies haha) a word that dropped onto my tongue last week haha. ( bit like dribble ) lol

I thought Id show a card from the recent show or 2  as I know you don't get much of a look on air.
I am off to hospital today to have the ankle checked so I though you may enjoy these. Both these cards on today's twofer were the demo's from the show too.

This one had a coating of clear embossing powder on the scissors and thimble  etc. The one on the show I left Matt.
A little close up on the fab scissors with the tiny little flowers etc., You can also see the texture on the paper etc which is lovely.
The lovely sentiments to fit with the sewing theme went so well too.
And of course the ribbon rose made from the crochet Ribbon in white.

The 2nd card I demo'd.
I love this (my fav colour mix at the moment of course.
This was the one I cut the die to make a square from a rectangle and you can see the gorgeous Sewing machine die cut.
In this picture you can see the lovely sentiment a couple of homemade stick pins and the rest of the die cuts.

I hope you liked them both, I haven't done full tutorials for these two as you saw me do them on the show but of course if you would like a break down let me know.

Have a great Tuesday and I will see you soon.

Hugs

Kim

  1. Morning Kim, I hope everything goes smoothly at the hospital today, my fingers are crossed !!
Fabulous that you are showcasing here your demo cards, I truly loved watching, gorgeous colours, fabulous die-cuts and the sentiments are delightful. We are spoilt with this 'two-fer'.
Enjoy your day after the hospital, I am relaxing this morning as I spent Saturday doing my front garden, Sunday after Church doing next door's front garden, and yesterday I was walking round Liverpool in the morning, and doing my back garden in the afternoon. My back is complaining bitterly haha, I forget my age !!! So I'm trying to relax this morning before going linedancing this afternoon. I have made a 'Wedding' card for one of the linedance teachers, a large one so everyone can sign it, I think she will 'love' it, I will email a piccie of it when it's finished.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

    Hi Kim,
hope it all goes better than expected for you today as the hospital - you've certainly deserved a bit of good news!
Your two cards today are, as ever, absolutely lovely. I watched your shows on TV and am only sad that only one of my friends is into sewing(quilting), so won't be buying those stamps/dies.
    LOVE the stickpins.
Keep up the good work, and ELEVATE THAT ANKLE! (I suppose not at the same time though lol).

Thanks for showing these 2 cards, I saw them on the TV but it's great to be able to take time to study them up close, especially after all your hard work. Been gardening yesterday and today so my legs ache a bit now and I'm on Granny duty tomorrow so don't think I will be getting much crafting done this week.
