Twofer show cards.

Good Morning,

Thank you for all your lovely comments again yesterday. Today I will show 2 card's from the show so Hopefully you will enjoy it.
I didn't feel too well yesterday so just about managed the red and white card but I am glad I did.Been groggy and sleepy all day but on the mend.
Glad your here with me lovelies.

This one is from the Black-eye susan stamp set from Just Rite and I have one of the Raindrops on Roses dies from Heartfelt creations(made by spellbinders of course) behind the focal piece which is cut out using  a Becca Feeken filigree label die.
You can also see Just rite filigree corners stamp which I used snow cap Adirondack for this stage on black card for the chalk board look.
To make the black -eye Susan stand out white like our large daisies you make sure no ink goes into the paper in the flower lines but use a pro marker or ink around the outside of the image in a pale grey or blue something like those colours anyway.
Lastly a bow tied from Creative expressions ribbon of course. With the new sparkly stones on top.

Next one.

Dear friend are the words for this one. I used here the Loren embossing folder and a couple of them gorgeous gold rose ribbons.
A close up of the gorgeous ribbon too. You can even make out some wax on the embossing.
And the bottom layer which of course has some double sided sheet and some stamping and some micro beads added too. Some little bling stones finish it all off.

So I am hoping you are enjoying today's cards and that you will be able to join me crafting in my craft room tomorrow later on.

Bug Hugs

  5. Morning Kim, Wow, we are definitely being spoiled with these 'twofers', these cards are stunning, I especially love the Becca label die, it is the 'perfect' shape for the spray of flowers stamp, and your tip with the colouring outside the lines, I must remember that because it really does make the stamping 'pop'. Both cards are truly stunning.
I hope you are feeling much better today, it is horrid when you feel 'out of sorts', lets hope a good sleep has helped, fingers crossed.

  11. Hi Kim
Just love today's cards, especially the first one. I love the black eyed susan stamp really is lovely. Tea Green promarker is also good for colouring round the outside of an image. Sorry to hear you weren't feeling to good yesterday, and hope you are feeling better today.

    1. Hi Pat. Yes i love them too, nice big spaces to be able to get depth in the colouring. I dont have the tea green colour but I will look out for it, I tend to try to stick with in colour grouping, ie. warm, cold etc. I think they are great for mixing etc though, Thanks for stopping by pat. love Kim xx

  12. Hi Kim
I hope you are feeling a bit better....my hubby has the flu....and he doesn't make a good patient lol! (poor thing is ill though). Todays cards are gorgeous, I love the colour combo you have used in the second one, I would never have thought to use those colours together but the result is rich and the overall look is ornate. I must say though, that my fav is the first card, you have put so much work into it and it's just fabulous. I love the fancy die cut by Becca Feecan and your colouring is perfect...I wish I was so confident with colour, I usually emboss my images and never get around to picking up the promarkers - I'm a scaredy-cat! Keep up the brilliant work

Oh no not Man flu... oh goodness the worse type ever...There is a brilliat man flu clip with Nick frost on you tube. Very funny.
Remember it is only a piece of card and the more you play with the promarkers the more blending that happens. Just pick three shades of the same colour family, light medium and dark , stamp a few images out and go relax in front of tv or in your chill zone(wherever that is) and start with your lightest, colour 1 area at a time, for instance one whole petal then add the medium tone half way down and go back over the edges and blend in with the lightest again, and do the same with the dark shade just a little way into the medium and blend etc. it really works well with the alcohol markers.remember just card. hugs Kim xxx
