My Cards from C&C.

Hi my gorgeous crew of lovliness

hehe...

I so appreciate all your amazing comments and little mini chats we have , I love to come on and see a little message and I always have to answer its the least I can do.
I really want to start my own group too, Last year I did a demo in a lovely shop down in Essex and It was my first time with so many people but the day just flew, I never stopped for lunch or anything , I absolutely loved that day and that little shop.
I want to travel all over the country doing workshops if I can get that well known and get booked so ladies if you have shops near you and would like me to come please go and tell them about me, we will have a fab day together.

Anyway enough waffling you all say.

As the title suggests I have a few cards you saw on C&C fleetingly that I haven't featured as yet so I thought I'd do that today with a twofer and maybe the next day too then Thursday I will have a nice goodie for Creative expressions again too.
So here is the first

It was made using the Alphabet soup large Just Rite stamp which I held in my hand and stamped randomly on to blush card stock which I just adore.
I used the Extra confetti Couture creations embossing folder.
I also used the Vintage labels 6 die from Just rite here too.
The Becca feeken Vintage label die and some diamond sprinkles which is currently my favourite glitter and will feature on a lot of things as I simply am hooked.
Lastly the sentiment and the Little buttons all came form the Bundle of joy stamp set from Just rite too.
So here are some close ups for you.

This little vintage embellishment on the bow I just love love love  and no shank on the back so they fit nice and flush, I used the pack of 6 in one day haha.
I used my quickie glue pen in all the debossed areas in the embossing folder and used the glitter in there too. Scrumy.
This is part of the small die in the Becca Feeken pack and I cut it in half and added it to each side of the sentiment panel, over the seem binding which I ruched and added onto some crochet ribbon.
Lastly was the pearls we all love too.

So that was the first card in beautiful pinks and now to the second one today.

I just love white on white and I used the coconut white here so not bright like tippex but not off white or cream either.this card is a big girl , she is 8 and half by 6 and half so certainly not a tiny one. I also really enjoy the soft Gold card ( I must order some I'm down to last few You can tell I love it.) so that features on here too.
I used a Sue Wilson lattice heart A4 embossing folder.
I used The Bella rose leaf and swirls die by Heartfelt creations and The opulent ovals by spellbinders of course. I used copper embossing powder and the little rose from the What Define Us set also Just Rite.
So some close ups.

This was the first one I made for the show infact so I was very pleased with it and how it turned out.

So what do think of these two then ? very different from my inky vintage ones which I adore but there is no cards I don't love to make so Hope you love these too.

I thought the sentiment was short but lovely to just say , ' Count on me '. and You all can so thank you so much for being here with me, I know I say that a lot but I really do mean it so I like to tell you all your appreciated.

Have a great Tuesday and see you all then.

Lots of Hugs

Kim

  1. Morning Kim, Firstly, Thank You for the offer of help, greatly appreciated. To be honest, I don't know how you fit it all in, doing a full-time job aswell as all your crafting, I find there aren't enough hours in the day for me, and I'm retired haha.
These cards are stunning, the colours are gorgeous and the stamping and embossing are truly beautiful. I love them both.
I would love for you to come to Cheshire to demo, sadly I only know of Hobbycraft and the Range near me, all the shops closed as they couldn't match the prices online.
I booked train tickets for the NEC Birmingham show at the weekend, got a fantastic deal from The Trainline, I loooooove that Show.
Have a great day, I'm off to Linedancing this afternoon, still got the head cold but hopefully I'll still be able to hear the music, fingers crossed haha.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

  5. Oh Kim, what beautiful, stunning, gorrrrg creations, just like I TRY to acheive with my sparse stash, the more delicate the better (see the butterfly card I emailed you) along with 2 more of the 'barmey' orders that have kept me awake at night (makes a change from my painful joints I suppose) dont mind being kept awake by crafty thoughts : )
It would be wonderful to see you in my local store (a Creative Expression stockist too) and lots of ladies who shop there watch C&C : ) so I bet they would love to see you make your wonderful creations, plus we also have Hobbycraft and the Range near by, have you thought about doing demo days in garden centres Kim ?
I SO look forward to popping in to say "Hi" to you and your Kimettes : ) and to salavate over what you delight us with, what with dribbling over Sue's blog and your's can you imagin the state of my phone screen ?!! : )
That's all for now, hoping Patricia is feeling a bit more human today.
    Love to all.

    1. Hi Steph
Your picture are totally gorgeous and well done those themes were hard. You really did well with a very difficult request. I was once asked for a pretty card in the dark reds and whites flat so it could go in a frame and a long long hadwritten piece to be included from mum. I thought oh wow this will be easy but then she said oh and she loves The Moomins so can you include them, well if you havent seen them you have to look on google, oh awful cartoon characters and my daughter was scared of them as a child so how on earth should i include that to elegant card , without a place to hide them haha. I never did get that once done after several attempts I eventually gave up so I am so glad you acheived yours. I have replied to your email of course but I am so sorry it was so late. crazy day. Wow Id love to meeet you my dear so lets hope they pop on and see all the cards and musings hey haha.
      Thanks again sweetie. xxx

    2. Hi Steph, Thank you, I am feeling better today, think I am on the mend. I went to linedancing yesterday, although went to Sainsburys first and felt shocking so nearly came home, but persevered and although I couldn't hear the music very well (ears all blocked up) I did OK. Where do you live in Lancashire ??
Lots of love from Patricia xx

  8. Hi Kim
I love both of these cards but the white and gold is my favourite. I saw you demo with Sue on C & C and was hooked. Hope you are feeling better today Steph. I missed your musings on Sue's blog this morning, Unless I couldn't see your comment for looking. I'd also love to see you do a demo Kim. We also have a Range in Swindon and a Hobbycraft in Oxford if you can manage to get down to Oxfordshire. We have no decent shops now in this area as my local one in Abingdon closed at Christmas when Millets put up the rent. So now my local will be at Lyndhurst which is nearly a 100 miles away. Good job my brother in law lives in Bournemouth so we can kill two birds with one stone so to speak.
