Now blogger behave haha.
I have my post up on the blog late so you can see who won today in my birthday/1st show competition.
Main prize
Sue Martin. and she wins:
Sue I will need your address if you could send it to my email at kim.robertson70@googlemail.com I will get your prize out to you.
Next I decided its time to start giving out some cards to my lovelies so I picked another four numbers today who all win a signed card from me from the show.
winners of the cards are:
Clai01
Lancashire Stef
Sharon
Patricia Howarth
If you could all send through your addresses then I will get them off asap to you all.
Would you all please comment on whether you would like regular card giveaways on the blog?
I am going to go back and answer all the lovely comments you put on to the competition post as you ladies know I like to come on an answer but I was knee deep in TV show prep all last week.
As I will run this post all day tomorrow (Saturday) I thought Id show another of the show cards.
I used the small stamp to create pages in a book with some seem binding ruched and trimmed in the middle almost like the traditional page dividers I thought, with a tassel at the top. Of course 1 of those gorgeous butterflies had to sit on the page too.
Lots of layers make this card look so elegant in these colours , i just love this plum card.
A close up on the glitter on Mr butterfly of course.
and one more I think? you are being spoiled ladies all these twofers haha..
Butterfly kisses
Look at him sparkle ( I don't know why they are always a him hmmmm)
I like my twine bow on this one with the sparkly adornment.
Very dimensional with lots of layers and tone on tonal stamping.
Well ladies thank you all for your support as I said on the earlier post and of course I look forward to you all travelling on this brilliant crafting adventure with me wooohooo.
Huge welcomes to all the new people joined this week too and one thing I always say is if you leave a comment make sure you come back and check because I do try to answer anything you leave for me especially if you ask a question or something like that. I also have a list on one of the recent blog postings of all the ways to view me on blogs and how to get me on emails etc if you have something longer than the little comment space to say to me and you are always welcome to email me any questions or thoughts or comments etc.Or if you would like to send pictures of the items you create through I would love to see them especially if you created it after seeing a demo or card up on the blog that inspired you. On that same post is my facebook page ,pinterest and links to all the various teams I design for etc.
Never be bored or alone ladies if you need me I am here or if you want to share a crafting hello I'm here too ( If I don't answer straight away I always will i just maybe at work etc)
Lots of love
Kimmy

Kim, that purple/yellow butterfly card you made the other day was gorgeous. Just lovely!
ReplyDeleteThanks lisa . Im so glad you liked it. xx
DeleteCongratulations to the lucky Sue for winning those lovely goodies and I for one would love to see one of your lovely cards in real life, it would be just great to receive one. As can be seen from these cards you have posted today, the colours are beautiful, and there is such a lot of detail with the layers and embellishments. Really beautiful Kim. x
ReplyDeleteHi Pat Thanks for popping in and your kind thoughts and words. I am glad , as i think giving away cards is a nice thing and if it makes people smile and give some inspiration it can only be a good thing hey.
DeleteThanks again .Kim xx
Hi Kim and Co : ) well done Sue on being a winner. And to Patricia, Clair and Sharon. Im so pleased to be able to receive a card from you, thanks so much.
ReplyDeleteI think it would be nice to have a card giveaway, but how often is down to you. With the design teams to produce for and CnC plus work the last thing you want to do is put yourself under pressure by promising something that may cause stress. That's my thought on your question, what do other Kimettes think ?
Have a lovely weekend Kim n Co whatever your plans.
Lancashire Steph xx
Ahhh thank you Steph I appreciate your concern, it is so lovely to be thought of but part of the enjoyment for me is seeing peoples faces when they see the samples and recieve the cards so altho I may not do every week, I will get it up and running.
DeleteThanks for being here
Kim xx
Hi Kim
ReplyDeleteBeautiful butterflies! Kim - how did you make the purple butterfly look so stunning?
Congratulations Ladies!
Sheila x
Hi Sheila. Thanks for popping in, The butterflies were simplest part, I stamped it in a purple grape momento ink. then covered it in self adhesive film cut around it and poured on the big chunky glitter, Diamond snow I think its called and then added the things in centre for body. very simple. xxx

ReplyDeleteI'm one of those lucky winners, I'm absolutely delighted to win such a beautiful card from the shows.
It's something which i'll treasure. I think it's a great idea to do card giveaways as people will become inspired by them and see the techniques first hand.
The two cards today look fantastic, love the colours and love the designs.
The build up of layers to form the book is just fantastic and Mr Butterfly sitting in the book, resting gently, just makes it look a good read for me?
I love the book mark too and the tassel. Gorgeous!
Perhaps it's one of the first pages of your creative adventure Kim?
and I'm sure we'll stay with you all the way. x

DeleteMorning Kim, Hearty Congratulations to all the very lucky Winners, of which I'm one, I am absolutely 'over the moon' to have won a 'Kim original', it will take pride of place in my craft room. I'm so, so, excited.
ReplyDeleteAs I said in my email, card giveaways are always magnificent for us but I don't know how you can bear to part with them haha. We are always so grateful for your inspiration and help and a card giveaway is 'the cherry on the top' and we Thank You wholeheartedly.
I love, love, love the colour spectrum purple, so I was really excited when you announced that it is yours too, I'm already a winner then haha. The cards that you have posted are stunning, I so wish that I had just a tiny bit of your imagination, but your inspiring posts really help me. I really want to get into stamping, as have been compiling my cards mainly of die-cuts recently, and I really want to get into inking and stamping, so your style really 'sings to me'.
Have a lovely day.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
Hi Patricia my lovely. I am so happy to make you smile like that, its souch a good feeling.I am glad you enjoy purple too.I am glad you are finding the stamping side of things because you can get into a habit of using die cuts which is great and pretty but its good to have a challenge once in a while. I think stamping does that for you.
DeleteLove Kim xxx

Kim xxx
Hi Kim,
ReplyDeletelove both stamps but prefer the second one. Green is more my colour.
HOWEVER, your designs are beautiful - matting and layering makes such a difference and what a clever way to create a "book" in the first card.
Have a good weekend.
Hugs, Rose
Hi Rose. I like greens too and they go so nice with my fav purples yay. Thanks for stopping by
