More C&C cards.

Happy happy Hump day guys.

No I haven't got the hump its just the hump of the week as it were haha.
Sooooooooooo Happy Wednesday my crafties.

So I am spoiling you with another twofer today one of them I only have the main image of so I will show this one first. I just love the colour I used which was from the Blossom pack of card stock I believe in Periwinkle blue.

Here it is.

Isn't it pretty. I made some felt flowers and added little blue pearls with cosmic shimmer glue to the centre.I love the Wedgwood type feel with cards and this is exactly what this  reminds me of. Can you see it guys?

Next one then.

Slightly different Hey ,  as you no from a card I made in Kraft a week or so ago I just love white on Kraft card , its so fresh and always has the wow factor.
The stamp set here is The New Taylored Expressions Oops a Daisy stamps , ooo such good quality rubber too. I just stamped several on kraft with white embossing and used my foam mat and a ball tool for dimension on the petals, then the blue flower I stamped in Vintage Sepia and painted it with Cosmic shimmer water paints with a little Sakura water colour gel pens which I love, they are sooo vibrant.
The card at the back I took some Kraft and stamped happy birthday three times i white and embossed .
I nipped of the corners for a different look. Then at the top I embossed with a Couture creations folder called wild holly ( which looks nothing like holly and so you can use anytime.) As my card is wider than the folder I had to extend the pattern of course.
Once of of the die I My Snow flake Adirondack ink over the top of the embossing which looked lovely but was way to subtle so I took my white pen and simple traced over the apertures that would be on show, it didn't take long. I wrapped some stunning turquoise crinkle Creative expressions ribbon around the gap between the embossing and the stamped sentiments.
And of course my gorgeous chocolate box bow. I adore bows.

Here's a couple of close ups.

A close up of the gorgeous flowers with dazzlers in the centres to match.

My stunning bow. lovvvves it.haha.

There we are then another two cards shown and soon I will be making like crazy for the show, I am so excited I think I have 2 separate hours that day so how cool is that.

I Thought I would take some time to let you know all the other ways to get in touch with me today
I have done this before but not for a while so I thought today would be a good day for that as I'm not showing just a certain companies goodies.

I have several ways so here we go.

1.First is my email. For any questions or things you would like to say that are maybe a bit long for the blog or not wanted to be for everyone to see I guess.
kim.robertson70@googlemail.com.

2.This is my Facebook if you use it and would like to become one of my friends and see the cards I post on there then this is me with a link.

3.If you use or follow Twitter here is that with link.

4.And Pinterest with all the gorgeous gallery pictures in one place to look at with link.

On top of these of course there are several other places to see my work as I am currently on
Craftwork Cards team and their blog is
Heartfelt creations team and contributing artist for them
Creative  expressions team, tv demonstrator and extra hehe.

I feature in Making cards magazine from time to time and have been lucky enough to have work in several magazines last year and am currently in the Craft Stamper mag with some Visible image work.
So obviously I don't expect you to chase me around all over but if you have a day and you want to have a look round now you have everything you need and it will always be here for you.

So I  look forward to chatting with you ladies ( and gents) just a couple and have a great Wednesday.

Lots of Crafty hugs.

  1. Morning Kim, Woweeeee, love both these cards, the first is a definite Wedgewood style and as I collect blue and white plates (and lots of other things blue and white haha) I love this colour combo and the white embossing is gorgeous. The kraft and turquoise card is fabulous, I always love brown and turquoise together, they really complement each other. What a fantastic idea with the stamped stems and the flowers decoupaged on top. They are both stunning.
I will be emailing you later regarding the NEC, and thank you for letting us know all the places we can contact you and also see your work.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

  2. Hi Kim. I love both of these, the first one does make you think of Wedgewod. How can anyone not like blue and white (my favourite combination) the flowers are beautiful too. The second card is also made using another of my favourites! How did you know, lol? Love the flowers, so pretty. Thanks for all of the contact details, so handy to have in one place. Take care.

  3. Hi again Kim. I hope you don't mind but I have a message for Pat in Witney. I live near to Abingdon. We need a good local decent craft shop don't we. Several places do a few bits and bobs but like you said Oxford or Swindon Hobbycarft or The Range in Swindon are the nearest bigger stores. There is a reopened Carols Crafts in Swindon too, downstairs inside the Brunel Centre, also The Stamp Attic in Wantage is good for... you guessed it.... stamps. Yarnton Nursery have a large craft shop (Carols Crafts) I suppose it depends on what you are looking for : ) What is the craft store in Bournemoth? Take care.

  6. Hi Kim

Just love todays cards. Blue and White although my favourite is Lilac and White. love the flowers as well, and saw you demo these on C & C with Sue.

    Hi Mrs B
Wow someone living close by me, how lovely. I have been over to Wantage although not in awhile. Have been over to carol Crafts in Yarnton but their stuff isn't always good quality and they don't have a good turnaround in stamps . Some have been there for years. The shop in Lyndhurst is in the high street no 14. Just by the traffic lights. They have lovely stamps and papers. I though when I walked in what a small shop but it extends down the back and is huge. They sell lots of creative expressions products as well as heartfelt creations and spellbinders. Although you can get the latter two on the internet cheaper. They sell the creative expressions products at a great price. Sometimes cheaper that online. Promarkers were priced at £1.69 each would you believe.

Another two gorgeous cards, you really are spoiling us!! The periwinkle card is lovely as are the beautiful felt flowers but you have made my day with the oops a daisy card, I purchased both the stamps and dies and have made lots of cards with them, not as lovely as yours though!
    Best wishes, Pat

  8. Hi Kim,
rather late in the day (or early in the next, whichever way you look at it, but then I'm a nightowl) MY COMPLIMENTS and hat off to you for giving us those lovely cards. I like them both very much but the Kraft and turquoise one has a bit more humph to it (don't know how else to put it). But both of them beautifully designed and the Wedgewood one has a quiet vibrancy of its own. But then I'm a sucker for Kraft and turquoise (or Kraft and BRIGHT RED - yummy!)
Thank you for letting us know the various ways of getting in touch with you - most appreciated.
    Hugs, Rose

Yes I can be a night owl too. Nice you popped on and thanks for compliments. I love Kraft and corrugated card etc full stop but it doesnt go with everything you work with or are given to work with haha as much as i like it. I have never tried Kraft and red , I will do that now and let you know how it goes Rose. Thank you.
