Visible Image Wednesday.

Hi My lovlies

I wonder if any of you know what mushy peas look like on the keyboard of a laptop.... I will leave you to ponder...

Today I have a glitterfest of lovliness for Visible Image and a new set of stamps from the brand new release for Christmas which i love.
What do you think?

its one of those that looks a certain way til you get up close and you see all the depth come through too.

Here's how to.

Take a piece of white card and the largest image from the sparkle at Christmas set of stamps, which i love, stamp it in embossing ink and use clear powder to heat set it

Next take your ink choices, mine were broken china for the centre of the sparkle image and then faded jeans and chipped sapphire with a little black soot for the edge, Lots of blending but you can make it a little patchy to resemble clouds or the misty night sky etc.

I did a second coat of ink to smooth it all out and deepen the colours and flicked water in varying size droplets at the image for effect and left them a few seconds to absorb the ink as it is water soluble then I blotted the water to remove it and some ink from the image.

I then took the smallest sparkle from the set and did some tone on tone stamping, i used faded jeans and broken china for this and once they were dry i took a white gel pen and highlighted the parts that would be hit by light from the large sparkle.
I covered the image in a sticky adhesive sheet and poured over a chunkyish glitter at this stage. Taking a chipped sapphire distress ink marker pen I deepen the shadows from the droplets on the glitter and the small sparkles to give them some dimension off the page.

I gave the whole piece a white mat and a navy layer of card to make the image nice and crisp.

Next I used the sentiment from the set and heat set it with silver sparkle embossing powder on the same navy card with a white mat.

Now i have all the glitter on it was so hard to see on camera how many layers you can see in the dimension of this piece so I thought I would hold it up and see if it was better but although you can see more the lighting got a little washed out instead arggggggg. lol

I decided to add a bob of glue to the centre of the main sparkle and then add some glass chunky glitter and a little sparkle flower too , i took this close u which actually showed how wonderfully sparkly this turned out.

Here is the main image again.

The stamp set i used was...

Well folks I hope you enjoyed this one and the news this week for the Fabulous Visible Image team is they are getting married this week  so a massive huge congratulations to them both and wish all my love to them too from the bottom of my heart.
